Blisses B - Regal Goodbyes I’m on people Decide these regal goodbyes Beforehand Don’t dye on your tan. I could never say it alone like it was before If it’s all the same then it’s yours on an open door Everybody else was in love like you should know Let’s just try it on you and me alone Why try feeble Ignite that ego We’re armed with past plans They end in bed pans I could never say it alone like it was before If it’s all the same then it’s yours on an open door Everybody else was in love like you should know Let’s just try it on you and me alone I’m on people Divide these sequels You lied beforehand Don’t dye on your tan I could never say it alone like it was before If it’s all the same then it’s yours on an open door Everybody else was in love like you should know Let’s just try it on you and me alone

Blisses B - Your Own Growl When everybody’s home We can sing songs Dare to repeat ourselves From doing wrong If you are alone Always on the phone Charge another rate End up gold That ain’t less of me Though I would like to steer you wrong When it’s time to be Will I see you less This time right here is another try That ain’t me as another guy When we all grow old Just heart and a lung How will we see ourselves in song Why not divide Your foolish pride Find a sense of being Two feet to ride That ain’t less of me Though I would like to steer you wrong When it’s time to be Will I see you less This time right here is another try That ain’t me as another guy All that you know It ain’t your own Make up your own growl Let go, but please let me know Just how to sound now Dig deep and dredge My heart, well it ain’t my own I just know the pattern The beat is aloof and grown When everybody’s home We can sing songs Dare to repeat ourselves From doing wrong If you are alone Always on the phone Charge another rate End up gold That ain’t less of me Though I would like to steer you wrong When it’s time to be Will I see you less This time right here is another try That ain’t me as another guy

Blisses B - Thirty Days, Sixty Years I wasn’t around for the back turn I couldn’t divide it like a brand new year If we’re all home living off the right verb Could you devise it like an open fear? I couldn’t decide on the right terms If you sign it won’t you dot that “I” Now we’re all forced on the back burn Could you drop it like a cosmic tear This is me on the reel Get the gaff and set the steel Against the boat the waves peel This deck ending ordeal I couldn’t decide on the right phase Won’t you push it like an unhinged door Now I’m back home growing all the right grapes But will they be crushed under my own heel? This is me on the reel Get the gaff and set the steel Against the boat the waves peel This deck ending ordeal

Valley Low 03:02
Blisses B - Valley Low When my heart is sinking Deeper than the valley low Seems like all this here drinking Has become a little apropos When your light is blinking Leaving me an amber glow Seems like I should sit there thinking How does your garden grow? I’m on time most of my days Lets all try for the golden way If we try can we call that praise When loves defined, we will have our say When you’re love of people Has left you in an undertow You try to swim forwards and backwords When left and rights the way to go When I’ve seen this by in Old and new separate ways When we all meet in the middle Your heart will be open faced I’m on time most of my days Lets all try for the golden way If we try can we call that praise When loves defined, we will have our say When my heart is sinking Deeper than the valley low Seems like all this here drinking Has become a little apropos When your light is blinking Leaving me an amber glow Seems like I should sit there thinking How does your garden grow? I’m on time most of my days Lets all try for the golden way If we try can we call that praise When loves defined, we will have our say When loves defined, we will have our say

Blisses B - Fine And Dandy Though I’ve heard it less Let’s decide on the means To change your outside world Into a shade of evergreen Where Theodore Geisel Had hopes for thoughts and dreams Where every brand new pine Finds a stream If you’re around me now And I decree That life is a harbored cry When we were child like You turned three You cut ties of cherub wings With an arrow to the bow Couldn’t be a braeburns dream But leaving that aside is as hard As a teapot steams Your jealous ways aside To fight alluring teams of middle aged buffoons and greed If you’re around me now And I decree That life is a harbored cry When we were child like You turned three You cut ties of cherub wings What were we saying How is that related How is that fine and dandy Life worth repeating Timing your meanings I can’t keep up with that pace You and your obliging Leaving us blinded Now we’re all lying sideways What were we saying How is that related How is that fine and dandy Life worth repeating Timing your meanings I can’t keep up with that pace What were we saying How is that related How is that fine and dandy

Cattywompus 02:51
Blisses B - Cattywompus If I ever get back home To a two-tone Two bit group home Downstairs from landlord Who’s own goals Ain’t up to the code A few blocks from an old flame Who’s right brained And won’t make the change A few more from the burnouts The Dead house And all them lab mouse Everybody was right there Ten blocks square We chose truth over dare We’d sit on blanks with pinecones Wine totes and stare at the ozone With no shoes and no socks on A swan song and a shallow mock pond We would chase the dogs on To the right lawn To defend the Lyon If I ever get back home To a two-tone Two bit group home Downstairs from landlord Who’s own goals Ain’t up to the code A few blocks from an old flame Who’s right brained And won’t make the change A few more from the burnouts The Dead house And all them lab mouse

Yesteryear 04:34
Blisses B – Yesteryear This is me so I should write it down Two times or less and it would make a sound If I knew you in a yesteryear I’d wrap my heart around and let you steer Hearts Minds Yours Divide another Year Cuz I am Much more now If I could tell you less in a just another year Like it’s wrong If I could fight it all in just another way Let’s be strong Set the route and a steady pace Extend it slowly like a lofty gaze When we wrote down each other’s fears You used pencil and left a bunny ear Hearts Minds Yours Divide another Year Cuz I am Much more now If I could tell you less in a just another year Like it’s wrong If I could fight it all in just another way Let’s be strong I wasn’t fighting the lion When we’re dividing the science This is me beforehand the client How can define less or be pious This is me so I should write it down Two times or less and it would make a sound If I knew you in a yesteryear I’d wrap my heart around and let you steer Hearts Minds Yours Divide another Year Cuz I am Much more now If I could tell you less in a just another year Like it’s wrong If I could fight it all in just another way Let’s be strong

I Was Around 03:07
Blisses B – I Was Around I was around when they let her know You would divide and crumble your pride If you were here and you made it known Would you devise a plan to imbibe That’s for sure and it ain’t much more I’ll do fine, right back on the dime The places were set and the meal was served You were on time and fumbling lines Admonish the fact that it’s well deserved Thoughts were obliged but limiting crimes That’s for sure and it ain’t much more I’ll do fine, back on the dime This is me in another year Feathers plucked and you knew my peers Please rely on the fact you’re on It’s the last one before your wrong Ring a bell to invite the jeers Bang a gong and release that spear I’ve old you in plain text before Life is spent on the waking bores
9.
Spirit 02:42
Blisses B - Spirit When everyone else was alone They took all their time and wrote it in rhymes Now divide that by two on the phone I couldn’t hear it or move on the spirit Think if we packed up and moved To pick up the pieces in other new regions Now it’s something to prove I’m not gonna fear it or move on the spirit In all of the love you have loaned By paying in full or residing in rural Is this your year to bemoan And what of the spirit and movable pulpit Let’s leave this in terms we can use Like Ebenezer or Julius Caesar Were they told of those who peruse Like terrible Brutus or ghosts in a plot twist Your tomb More in the backroom Supplied new truths Was masked with perfume Canary Yellow as plain day The line you use Proficient as time saved Future plans will remain With the thought of a refuge and forensic plot clues I couldn’t see through the pane The bended refraction of your arms sun singed What of you being razed Components and plans burned and more of these left turns Tongue and groove wouldn’t stay I found ashes, south of Muir woods Your tomb More in the backroom Supplied new truths Was masked with perfume Canary Yellow as plain day The line you use Proficient as time saved
10.
Blisses B - Decimal Point I’ve been picking up time writing these lines But if you never really see it as a goal In the background of new sound I could never tell you as a lie That it’s much more than the decimal I ain’t relying on me If its hell bent and heaven sent Then why not define it as a soul Or much more than the story told I’m picking up time writing these lines But if you share it only as a story told Or a fable, lost on those Who came to see but never imposed Their true thoughts are movie plots Why not see it as a fold But the tear holds a better goal One that sees you in the sun With grass green and halo beams Still I’m picking up time writing these lines Like I’ve know this time That in a little while Like my heart explodes I could let you know I could stay well, another brand new day back to me again I’m in the background of a new sound If I ever tell you two times The repeat facts of an open tact Please don’t see it as a toll It’s heart felt and timely dealt I never meant to leave it in a song In due time we all will climb Still I’m picking up time writing these lines Like I’ve know this time That in a little while Like my heart explodes I could let you know I could stay well, another brand new day back to me again

IWHBYWW 03:13
Blisses B - IWHBYWW When we’ve found ill reprieve And it’s that much more knocking on your door I was never really home but that’s not the look of new stones You could never really find a picture of your heart shot in due time Back on this here timing of bells Waters sinking deep in the well Do you know, oh do tell I Was Home Before You Were Wrong Now we all see this concern and cause for alarm I’ve sighed three thousand times Your arms provide a stronger tide Paddling to shore I’m freed by the second of two oars Things I never see Won’t you subjugate a new need Back on this here timing of bells Waters sinking deep in the well Do you know, oh do tell I Was Home Before You Were Wrong Now we all see this concern and cause for alarm So if your back home Singing all the songs that you know Won’t you try your hands digging in the earthen clay There is a proverb Capturing all your big words I wrote it down and sent it as a paper plane Back on this here timing of bells Waters sinking deep in the well Do you know, oh do tell I Was Home Before You Were Wrong Now we all see this concern and cause for alarm

about

Blisses B, rooted firmly in the city that embraces music in all forms imaginable, introduces another compilation of genre-crashing rock and psychadelia with their second full-length album, Thirty Days, Sixty Years. Debuted on Nov. 13, 2010, the album was recorded, produced, and engineered entirely by the San Francisco-based quartet.Thirty Days, Sixty Years explores the mathematical parameters that define our lives -- weekends, vacations, adolescence, adulthood, the reality of how much time we have left on this earth -- and the personal equations that result from the many caveats that can extend and shorten most of these time frames. Are we spending our time wisely, with the right people, and in the right place? What are we giving back?

“... 11 glistening ditties — heavy with none-too-subtle Afropop influences, strong doses of Paul Simonism, and snippets of Cat Stevensy folk…”
